In 'Something to Sing About' James Cagney plays a New York bandleader who heads to Hollywood when he is offered a movie contract. 'Riders of Destiny' stars John Wayne as Singing' Sandy Saunders, a drifter who witnesses what he first believes to be a stage robbery.

In reality, the 'road agent' is a girl, and she is 'stealing' her own money in order to prevent a phony stage holdup further down the road.
