Torchwood has now been in existence for over 10 years from its debut in 2006 as a Doctor Who spin-off created by top TV producer and writer Russell T Davies.

It has appeared on both UK and US television, BBC radio productions, novels, and now - courtesy of Big Finish - in new audio plays.

The huge interest following the announcement of the first Big Finish Torchwood series caused a website server crash even as star John Barrowman was breaking the news on his radio show.

This release marks the return of the original Torchwood team,as seen in Series 1 and 2 of the TV show.
