Bullied orphan Aladin Chatterjee (Riteish Deshmuk) lives a drab existence in the city of Kwaish until his classmate Jasmine (Jacqueline Fernandez) gives him a magic lamp containing the spirit of rock star genie Genius (Amitabh Bachchan), who seems desperate to give Aladin three wishes and thereby be released from his contract with the Magic Lamp and his connection with evil ex-genie Ringmaster (Sanjay Dutt).
