An American Pickle

US comedy drama starring Seth Rogen. In 1920, Eastern Europeans Herschel and Sarah Greenbaum (Rogen and Sarah Snook) immigrate to America in search of a better life and a more prosperous future.

Herschel finds a job in a pickle factory, where an accident causes him to fall into a vat of brine only to emerge 100 years later, perfectly preserved.

Although he becomes a media sensation, Herschel struggles to adjust to a modern world he does not recognise.

However, he is soon introduced to his only living descendant, computer programmer Ben (Rogen), and the two distant relatives attempt to teach each other about life.
