Aquamarine/Flicka/First Daughter

Triple bill of teen-themed films. 'Aquamarine' (2006) stars Emma Roberts and Joanna Levesque as two friends with a major problem.

It's the end of summer and in just five days Haily (Levesque)'s family is moving halfway around the world.

These girls need a major miracle, and they get one in the form of Aquamarine (Sara Paxton), a beautiful mermaid who washes ashore in a late summer storm.

Sweet, but clueless to the ways of romance, she offers to grant the girls one wish if they help her find the boy of her dreams.

But when they attempt to reel in the cute local lifeguard, the result is something none of them expect and they discover that sometimes what you wish for isn't what you really want after all. 'Flicka' (2006) is a coming-of-age story about a teenage girl's relationship with a wild horse.

Katy McLaughlin (Alison Lohman) is a headstrong 16-year-old, eager to show her father that she is mature enough to manage the family ranch one day.

In an attempt to prove her capabilties, she befriends and attempts to tame a wild mustang.

Finally, 'First Daughter' (2004) stars Katie Holmes as a seemingly ordinary college freshman with one important exception - her father (Michael Keaton) is the President of the United States.

When Samantha (Holmes) begins her studies at Redmond University, she asks her father to remove the two Secret Service agents who follow her everywhere.

The President agrees, but out of concern for her safety, he sends in a young undercover agent, James (Marc Blucas), who will pose as the Resident Advisor.

Samantha and James quickly become friends and pretty soon their friendship grows into a romance.

When Samantha discovers the truth about James, she wonders if his love for her is real or just part of his cover.
