Bad Teacher/The Holiday/Very Bad Things

A triple-bill of Cameron Diaz films. In 'Bad Teacher' (2011), after being dumped by her sugar daddy, tough-talking bad girl Elizabeth Halsey (Diaz) reluctantly returns to her former job as a middle school teacher.

Back in the staff room she has soon set her sights on a hot new substitute teacher (Justin Timberlake), who also just happens to be heir to a large watch fortune.

Unfortunately, there is just one small obstacle standing in Elizabeth's way: his butter-wouldn't-melt girlfriend, Amy (Lucy Punch).

In 'The Holiday' (2006), Iris (Kate Winslet) is in love with a man who is about to marry another woman.

Across the globe, Amanda (Diaz) realises the man she lives with has been unfaithful.

Never having met and living 6000 miles apart, they meet online at a home exchange website and impulsively switch homes for the Christmas holidays.

Iris moves into Amanda's L.A. house in sunny California as Amanda arrives in the snow-covered English countryside.

Shortly after arriving at their destinations, both women find the last thing either wants or expects: a new romance.

Amanda is charmed by Iris' handsome brother Graham (Jude Law) and Iris, with inspiration provided by legendary screenwriter Arthur (Eri Wallach), mends her heart when she meets film composer Miles (Jack Black).

Finally, in 'Very Bad Things' (1998), Laura (Diaz) and Kyle (Jon Favreau) are a happy couple, about to celebrate the wedding of their dreams.

To help set them off in style, Kyle's buddies organise a stag night that turns out to be unforgettable - for all the wrong reasons.

During the debauched festivities, a young stripper is killed and rather than going to the police, Kyle is convinced that he should dispose of the body in the desert.

This sets off a chain of events which spirals out of Kyle's control.

Hardly the best preparation for the most important day of his life.
