In this season, Penny decides to leave Pasadena but an acting job makes her reconsider, Leonard tries to have a long-distance relationship with Priya (Aarti Mann), Sheldon and Amy (Mayim Bialik)'s friendship continues to develop and Howard gets the chance to go on a mission into space.
