Six legendary Bionicle heroes are snared in webs of intrigue and betrayal as they face the most extraordinary trials and transformations yet.

With one final duty to fulfill before they can build their new home on the island of Mata Nui, the Toa return to Metru Nui and find their once-glorious city shrouded in shadows, chaos and ruin, and overrun by a poisonous pack of spidery Visorak.

But their greatest challenges will come from within.

Tempted to join ranks with seductive dark forces, the Toa must learn to overcome their fears, heed their wise advisors and work together.
