The Boys from Brazil/The Eagle Has Landed/Escape to Athena

Collection of three classic war films. In 'The Boys from Brazil' (1978), Nazi hunter Ezra Lieberman (Laurence Olivier) is aghast when he stumbles upon a plot by war criminal Josef Mengele (Gregory Peck) to produce clones of Adolf Hitler using cells taken from the late dictator's body.

It is Mengele's intention to reproduce Hitler not only genetically but in terms of his upbringing, as the boys created from the cells are to grow up in environments as close as possible to the Fuhrer's. 'The Eagle Has Landed' (1976) is John Sturges' adaptation of Jack Higgins' semi-factual novel using an all-star cast.

In 1943, a group of Nazi soldiers parachute into Norfolk and infiltrate a small village near the holiday retreat of Winston Churchill.

Their plan is to assassinate the British Prime Minister but the villagers are not without initiative and, as their plans get protracted, they find themselves facing moral and practical dilemmas.

In 'Escape from Athena' (1979), Austrian commandant Major Otto Hecht (Roger Moore) is carrying out Hitler's orders to loot ancient art treasures on the Greek island of Athena, unaware that local resistance leader Zeno (Telly Savalas) is hatching a plot to defeat him.

A group of freedom fighters land on the island to battle the Nazi forces, freeing the slave labour prisoners in the process.
