Breathless

All six episodes from the ITV drama series following the lives and loves of the nurses and doctors working in a London hospital in the 1960s.

Jack Davenport stars as Otto Powell, a surgeon who works in a gynaecology department while carrying out abortions on the side in a time when they are illegal.

New staff member Angela (Catherine Steadman) arrives at the hospital and Otto takes an interest in her despite being a married man.

Meanwhile, Chief Inspector Mulligan (Iain Glen) threatens to expose a past event involving Otto and his friend, anaesthetist Charlie Enderbury (Shaun Dingwall), which could destroy their careers.
