The Early Adventures: The Isos Network

Last year Big Finish started a new range in which we created new old stories: inventive new tales featuring actors from the show's early years, with full cinematic sound design to give an effect of these shows reaching you from the past...This year four fresh releases in the range visit the hugely regarded Second Doctor era: Set immediately after the TV story The Invasion, The Isos Network reveals that the Cybermen threat is far from over..The Doctor, Jamie and Zoe are leaving Earth after having successfully defeated a Cyberman invasion...The Cyber-fleet is still exploding...But something is escaping through the mass of vaporising debris.

In hot pursuit, the Doctor and his friends find themselves drawn to a mysterious planet where strange beasts slither through the streets of a deserted city...And an old enemy lurks beneath the streets.

As a force of heavily-armed aliens arrives, a battle to save the entire galaxy from invasion begins.

Frazer Hines revisits his role as Jamie, a companion of the Second Doctor (played on television by Patrick Troughton) back in 1966-69.The Cybermen return, viewed (along with the Daleks) as one of the two all-time favourite and most-recognisable monsters by fans and casual viewers alike. ..Nicholas Briggs voices the Cybermen - he has provided monster voices not only for many Big Finish productions, but for a number of Doctor Who monsters on TV!
