Mr Gumpy is going out for a drive in his motor car, but the children, the rabbit, the cat, the dog, the pig, the sheep, the chickens, the calf and the goat all want to come along, too.

All is well until the rain pours down, the wheels start to spin on the muddy track and Mr Gumpy's companions all find excuses not to get out and push the car...
