Charlie's Angels/My Best Friend's Wedding/Very Bad Things/The...

Four films featuring actress Cameron Diaz. Diaz stars alongside Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu in 'Charlie's Angels', a big-screen adaptation of the hit 1970s TV show.

Assigned by their reclusive boss Charlie (voiced by John Forsythe) to investigate the disappearance of Eric Knox, a computer scientist whose revolutionary new invention promises to make him a billionaire, the Angels find him hidden away in the headquarters of business rival Roger Corwin.

But things are not what they seem and the Angels soon find themselves using their superior Kung Fu skills and state-of-the-art gadgetry in an attempt to foil a cunning revenge plot.

In 'My Best Friend's Wedding' (1997), Julianne Potter (Julia Roberts) has just realised that she is in love with her best friend Michael O'Neal (Dermot Mulroney), but there's a problem: Michael has recently announced his up-coming marriage to the hare-brained Kimmy (Diaz).

Enlisting the help of her gay friend George Downes (Rupert Everett), Julianne resolves to sabotage Michael's big day and win him back for herself.

But when Kimmy turns out to be such a kind and likeable person, Julianne wonders if she's doing the right thing after all.

In 'Very Bad Things' (1998), Laura (Diaz) and Kyle (Jon Favreau) are a happy couple about to celebrate the wedding of their dreams.

To help set them off in style, Kyle's buddies organise a stag night that turns out to be unforgettable - for all the wrong reasons.

During the debauched festivities, a young stripper is accidentally killed - and, rather than going to the police, Kyle is convinced that he should dispose of the body in the desert.

This sets off a chain of events which spirals out of Kyle's control.

Hardly the best preparation for the most important day of his life...

In 'The Sweetest Thing' (2002), San Francisco flatmates Christina (Diaz), Courtney (Christina Applegate) and Jane (Selma Blair) go out for a night's clubbing to help the latter forget about her recent break-up with her long-term boyfriend.

That night, commitment-shy Christina meets Peter (Thomas Jane), who she thinks she might like, yet when she tries to track him down the next day, she finds that he is in the process of getting married.

For his part, Peter sees her fleeing the ceremony - and begins to wonder if he's doing the right thing after all.
