Citizen James

1960s comedy series starring Sid James as a loveable rogue trying to keep his head above water through a variety of underhand schemes.

Sid (James) faces a number of problems in his everyday life - primarily how to find the money to live on while being far too lazy to work and losing what little cash he has gambling.

There are also the issues presented by his girlfriend, Liz (Liz Fraser), who has been waiting seven years for Sid to do the decent thing and pop the question and is starting to get a little impatient.

Can Sid and his equally hapless sidekick, Bill (Bill Kerr), concoct enough scams to keep the wolves at bay and Liz onside?
