Robert Siodmark directs this riotously camp Technicolor cult classic made in the mid-1940s and set in the South Seas.

Maria Montez stars as twin sisters who were separated at birth: Tollea, a sweet native girl engaged to marry an American (Jon Hall); and Naja, evil high-priestess of a human-sacrificing, snake-worshipping cult.

When the island's volcano, Fire Mountain, erupts, the evil Naja decides to placate the angry volcano god by sacrificing her sister and her lover.
