Icelandic filmmaker Hillmar Oddsson directs this psychological drama based on the 1985 novel by Vigdís Grímsdóttir.

Ingvar Eggert Sigurdsson stars as Grimur, a lonely 40-something with a tragic past, who finds himself emotionally crippled in the face of problems in his current relationship with art teacher, Linda (Ruth Olafsdottir).

Haunted by a childhood tragedy that he thinks he could have prevented, Grimur has suffered from terrifying nightmares and premonitions throughout his adult life.

In his younger years, a mystical second sight tormented him with visions of the future, but now he must learn to let go of the past and accept the good things that life has to offer.
