Cobb) narrates the tale of his encounter with psychopathic killer Al Walker (William Holden).

In 'Convicted' (1950) prison warden George Knowland (Broderick Crawford), a former district attorney, helps convict Joe Hufford (Glenn Ford) attempt to overturn his false conviction.

In 'Between Midnight and Dawn' (1950) two LAPD cops become involved with a murderous racketeer during the course of their night shift.

In 'The Sniper' (1952) police hunt a women-hating serial killer who is picking off victims with a sniper rifle.

Finally, in 'City of Fear' (1959) an escaped convict threatens the lives of everyone in Los Angeles when he escapes San Quentin and heads for the city with a deadly radioactive substance.
