Convoy

Sam Peckinpah directs this action thriller based on the hit song by C.W.

McCall. Long-distance trucker Rubber Duck (Kris Kristofferson) is on the run from corrupt sheriff Lyle Wallace (Ernest Borgnine).

He makes a call on his radio asking for assistance from other truckers, many of whom have also fallen foul of Wallace in the past, and they are quick to offer help.

The cast also includes Ali MacGraw, Burt Young and Franklyn Ajaye.
