Coming-of-age romantic drama, set in Ireland. Shane (Michael Legge) is a shy civil servant who wants to strike out on his own.

He meets gay student Vincent (Allen Leech) while looking for a flatmate, and the two young men become friends.

Outgoing Vincent helps Shane overcome his shyness, to the extent that Shane is soon falling for Vincent's best friend Gemma (Amy Shiels) and becoming involved with a shady drug dealer.
