Devil/The Exorcism of Emily Rose/The Unborn

Triple bill of horror films dealing with supernatural visitations and demonic possession. 'Devil' (2010) is a sci-fi suspense thriller produced and based on a concept by M.

Night Shyamalan, but directed by Drew and John Erick Dowdle.

The film revolves around a group of five people - including mattress salesman Vince (Geoffrey Arend), rich housewife Sarah (Bojana Novakovic) and security guard Ben (Bokeem Woodbine) - trapped inside an office block elevator.

One of five, unbeknownst to the others, is the Devil in disguise. 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' (2005) is based on a true life story in which the Catholic Church officially recognised the demonic possession of a 19-year-old college freshman.

The film chronicles the trial of the priest, Father Moore (Tom Wilkinson), whose exorcism attempt resulted in the death of Emily (Jennifer Carpenter).

Laura Linney plays the lawyer who takes on the task of defending Moore against those who would condemn him for his actions.

In 'The Unborn' (2009) a young woman, Casey (Odette Yustman), is gradually possessed by the spirit of a boy who died in the Holocaust.

With the help of Rabbi Sendak (Gary Oldman) and her college professor, Mr Shields (Rhys Coiro), she must do all she can to overcome the evil curse before it threatens not only her own life but those of everyone she loves.
