Dragonball Evolution/Eragon

Double bill of action adventures. 'Dragonball Evolution' (2009) is a live-action feature film based on the manga by Akira Toriyama.

Justin Chatwin stars as the young warrior Son Goku, who, at the request of his dying grandfather (Randall Duk Kim), sets out on a quest to find the great Master Roshi (Chow Yun-Fat) and collect all seven magical Dragon Balls.

Goku must race against time to gather the mystical orbs before the power-hungry King Piccolo (James Marsters) appropriates them for his own evil purposes. 'Eragon' (2006) is a fantasy adventure based on the bestselling novel by Christopher Paolini. Orphaned farm boy Eragon (Edward Speleers)'s destiny is sealed forever when a mystic stone chooses him for its keeper.

But when the stone turns out to be an egg from which a baby dragon is hatched, Eragon realises he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself.

Overnight his simple life is shattered, and he is thrust into a perilous new world of destiny, magic and power.

With only an ancient sword and the advice of an old storyteller (Jeremy Irons) for guidance, Eragon and the fledgling dragon (voice of Rachel Weisz) must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds.
