Set in the town of Fargo, North Dakota, the series follows beautician Peggy Blumquist (Kirsten Dunst) and her butcher husband Ed (Jesse Plemons) as they endeavour to cover up a fatal hit-and-run that killed Rye Gerhardt (Kieran Culkin), the son of organised crime family matriarch Floyd Gerhardt (Jean Smart).
