Tim Burton's black and white stop-motion animated homage to Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein' is a remake of his 1984 short of the same name.

When young Victor Frankenstein (voice of Charlie Tahan)'s beloved dog Sparky is killed, Victor employs all of his scientific knowledge and skills to bring him back to life.

However, when Victor's classmates become aware of his successful experiment, the consequences for the town are alarming.

The voice cast also includes Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara and Martin Short.
