Funland: Series 1

Dark and surreal comic soap opera, written by Jeremy Dyson and Simon Ashdown, set in the seedy and sleazy underbelly of Blackpool as three disparate groups of people find their paths crossing, with bizarre results.

Carter Kranz (Daniel Mays) has come to avenge the death of his mother, while Dudley Sutton (Kris Marshall) and his wife Lola (Sarah Smart) are in town for a dirty weekend to spice up their marriage.

Meanwhile, at the heart of the city is the sinister Woolf family, run by the manipulative matriarch Mercy (Judy Parfitt).
