The Girl from Paris

Sandrine Dumez (Mathilde Seigner) has become fed up with city life and decides to fulfil her dream of becoming a farmer.

Quitting her internet job, she promptly buys a small farmstead in a beautiful alpine setting, and sets about getting things ready for the on-coming winter.

The farm's previous owner, cantankerous farm veteran Adrien Rochas (Michel Serrault), is forced to remain in the farmhouse until the building of his retirement home is completed, and he watches Sandrine's efforts with great scepticism.

But as the winter progresses, these two mismatched individuals gradually learn to put aside their differences and start to appreciate each other.
