Hanna/The Bone Collector/The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

A triple-bill of thrillers. In 'Hanna' (2011), raised deep in the Finnish wilderness by her ex-CIA agent father Erik (Eric Bana), Hanna (Saoirse Ronan) has been carefully trained throughout her childhood to become the perfect assassin.

Now in her teens, she is finally judged by her father to be ready to be sent out on a mission, and she sets out across Europe to carry out her deadly assignment.

On her trail is Marissa Wiegler (Cate Blanchett), a ruthless intelligence agent with a few dark secrets of her own.

In 'The Bone Collector' (1999), when street cop Amelia Donaghy (Angelina Jolie) discovers a hideously mutilated corpse, her superiors call on forensics expert Lincoln Rhymes (Denzel Washington) to investigate.

Paralysed after an injury sustained in the line of duty, the case gives Rhymes a new lease of life, but he needs a reluctant Donaghy to do the legwork for him if he is to stop the murderer from striking again.

Finally, in 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' (2011), Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig), journalist and part-owner of 'Millenium' magazine, has just lost a costly legal case against the corrupt businessman, Hans-Erik Wennerström (Ulf Friberg).

The financial hit leaves him with little choice but to take a job offered to him by Henrik Vanger (Christopher Plummer), investigating the disappearance of a young woman from the Vanger family some four decades ago.

Blomkvist's search for the truth brings him into contact with Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara), a young computer hacker with special skill as a researcher.

As the pair set to work on the case, they begin to make some surprising discoveries about the Vanger family and their history.
