Ginger Rogers, Basil Rathbone, Adolphe Menjou, Jean-Pierre Aumont, Melville Cooper, Mikhail Rasumny

1940s romantic drama starring Ginger Rogers and Jean Pierre Aumont.

Young woman Arlette (Rogers) becomes a pupil at a pickpocket school headed by Professor Aristide (Basil Rathbone).

She soon becomes Aristide's star student and is hired by a foreign ambassador (Adolphe Menjou) to acquire a priceless watch from diplomat Pierre (Aumont).

Arlette makes a mess of the job, however, and ends up falling for Pierre but will he feel the same?
