I See a Dark Stranger

1940s romantic drama starring Deborah Kerr as Bridie Quilty, an independent young Irish woman with a strong hatred towards all Englishmen.

During WWII Bridie travels to England and becomes a spy for the Nazi regime.

While there, however, she meets British Intelligence officer David Bayne (Trevor Howard) and they soon fall for one another.

When Bridie discovers top secret information about the D-Day landings, she realises that passing this onto the Nazis could prove to be devastating for both the British and Irish soldiers.

After destroying the information she must find a way to get back to Ireland without being caught by the police.
