Low-budget British action horror. In a prison on the remote St. Leonards Island in the Atlantic Ocean clinical trials are carried out on some of the world's most dangerous female criminals.

As the prison's scientists attempt to develop a cure for cancer their experiments take a dangerous turn as their subjects become infected with a deadly virus.

Meanwhile, a new arrival leads the prisoners' revolt as they attempt to escape the facility.
