Gritty South African thriller following two young criminals from adolescence into adulthood.

In the Johannesburg district of Soweto, teenage friends Lucky (Jafta Mamabolo) and Zakes (Motlatsi Mahloko) graduate from petty crime to car-jacking and armed robbery in a desperate attempt to make enough money to get out of the neighbourhood.

After a botched heist and a near-fatal run-in with the police, the boys are forced to flee the area for the no man's land of Hillbrow.

Five years later Lucky and Zakes (now played by Rapulana Seiphemo and Ronnie Nyakale) are scraping a living by operating an unlicensed taxi service - but when armed rivals steal their taxi, Lucky decides to resort to crime once more.
