Karthik Calling Karthik

Bollywood romantic comedy. Karthik (Farhan Akhtar) has no confidence. Shy and introverted, he is treated like dirt by his boss and is as miserable at work as he is at home.

He is secretly in love with his colleague Shonali (Deepika Padukone), but she doesn't even know he exists.

One night the phone rings, and to his amazement the man on the other end claims to be Karthik.

These phone calls soon begin to change his life as the other Karthik becomes his guide, mentor and friend, helping him to overcome his insecurities and finally go after the things he wants in life.
