Le Mans

Steve McQueen stars as a racing driver forcing himself back to the scene of a previous accident in this action adventure.

Having been seriously injured in the Le Mans race the previous year, Michael Delaney (McQueen) starts a tentative relationship with the widow of another driver killed in that same accident, while forcing himself to compete one last time.

McQueen performed all of his own driving on the genuine Le Mans course in France and recruited a further 45 international racing drivers for the film.
