The Leonardo DiCaprio Collection

Collection of four films starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

In 'Inception' (2010), directed by Christopher Nolan, Dom Cobb (DiCaprio) is a professional thief with a difference: the spoils he goes after are not material objects but the thoughts, dreams and secrets buried in the minds of other people.

This rare talent has cost him dear, rendering him a solitary fugitive stripped of everything he ever really cared about.

When he is offered a chance for redemption by reversing the process and planting an idea rather than stealing it, he and his team of specialists find themselves pitted against a dangerous enemy that appears to pre-empt their every move.

In 'Blood Diamond' (2006) Danny Archer (DiCaprio) is a former Zimbabwean mercenary now living in Sierra Leone during the '91-'00 civil war.

Archer hears that an imprisoned Mende fisherman, Solomon Vandy (Djimon Honsou), has found and hid a large, pink diamond whilst doing forced labour in the mines the guerrillas are using to fund their war.

Vandy has escaped the camp but his son is left behind.

Archer has the wherewithal to help him make the perilous return to the camp, though his motives are less honourable than those of the frantic father. In 'Body of Lies' (2008) DiCaprio stars as Roger Ferris, a CIA agent who uncovers a lead on a Jordan-based terrorist leader, Al-Saleem (Alon Aboutboul), who has masterminded several bombings of civilian targets.

With the help of his boss, Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe), and a tentative alliance with the Chief of Jordanian Intelligence, Hani Salaam (Mark Strong), Ferris devises a plan to infiltrate the terrorists' network and track down those responsible for the bombings.

Finally, in 'J. Edgar' (2011) DiCaprio stars as J. Edgar Hoover, the head of American law enforcement for nearly 50 years.

Hoover was the first ever Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from its inception till his death in 1972.

Both admired and vilified during his lifetime, he covertly collated a number of files on political and public figures, while at the same time keeping the truth of his own private life a closely guarded secret.
