The Lies Boys Tell

Made-for-TV drama based on a true story. Ed Reece (Kirk Douglas) is an old man with only a short time left to live, but while his family think he should stay in bed and go peacefully, Ed has very different ideas about how to spend his last days.

He is determined to head out on the road and revisit some of the places from his past, and while he's at it, make up with his long-lost son as well.

So begins a journey which will take Ed all the way across America, bringing him back finally to the very bed in which he was born.
