Lies and Illusions

Christian Slater stars in this fast-paced comedy thriller as a best-selling author whose world is turned upside down.

On the outside, self-help guru Wes Wilson (Slater) appears to enjoy all the trappings of a successful career.

But his seemingly idyllic life is blown apart when his fiancée Samantha (Sarah Ann Schultz) is murdered in a mysterious attack, with Wes finding himself pursued by thugs belonging to jewel smuggler Isaac Kahn (Cuba Gooding Jr.).

In the days to come, Wes begins to uncover the truth surrounding Samantha's previous double-life, including a horde of missing diamonds stolen from Kahn that the smuggler is determined to retrieve at any cost.
