The Man Who Was Sherlock Holmes

German comedy directed by Karl Hartl. Morris Flint (Hans Albers) and Macky Mcpherson (Heinz Rühmann) stop a night train on its way to Brussels and are quickly mistaken for the famous detective and assistant, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. Using this case of mistaken identity to their advantage, they begin to interrogate passengers aboard the train and it is here where they meet two attractive young sisters, Mary (Marieluise Claudius) and Jane Berry (Hansi Knoteck).

Soon afterwards, upon arrival in Brussels, the pair are then asked to investigate the theft of some rare postage stamps which leads them back to Mary and Jane.
