Man of the West

Western adaptation of the book 'The Border Jumpers' by Will C.

Brown, starring Gary Cooper and Julie London. When the train he is on gets robbed, reformed outlaw Link Jones (Cooper) finds himself unwittingly reunited with his old gang.

Left wounded with only a gambler (Arthur O'Connell) and a singer (London) for company, Link is forced to seek out nearby relatives who he abandoned to renounce his criminal ways.

But after being begrudgingly reintegrated into the band of outlaws, the group decide to use the others' presence to realise a long held ambition of robbing a local bank.
