The Match

After five years away at university Rosemary Bailey (Laura Fraser) is returning home to the Scottish Highlands.

This is good news for local lad Wullie Smith (Max Beesley), who has been besotted with her for many years.

The bad news is that Wullie has bet that he can help his pub football team beat their arch rivals from the upmarket L'Bistro bar.

Should he lose, the pub will end up as a car-park. To complicate matters further, his team is made up of misfits and eccentrics who aren't exactly experts on the beautiful game.
