In 'Mercury Rising' (1998) autistic nine-year-old Simon (Miko Hughes) has inadvertently cracked the US government's new secret code, making him a prime security threat in the eyes of the FBI.

With Programme Chief Nick Kudrow (Alec Baldwin) ordering his elimination, Simon's only hope of survival comes from renegade agent Art Jeffries (Willis), who realises they must make full use of each other's special skills to stay one step ahead of their pursuers.

In 'Tears of the Sun' (2003) Lt. A.K. Waters (Willis) finds himself struggling between following his orders and his heart when his Navy SEAL unit is sent to war-torn Nigeria to rescue refugee worker Dr Lena Kendricks (Monica Bellucci).

Kendricks persuades Waters to escort her refugees on a dangerous journey through the jungle to nearby Cameroon where they will be safe.

In 'Striking Distance' (1993) Tom Hardy (Willis) is demoted from homicide detective to River Rescue Patrol after challenging his superiors.

Hardy believes that his father was murdered by a serial killer, not the man the police convicted.

When the killer begins operating again two years later, Hardy sets out to track him down - much to the disapproval of his uncle (Dennis Farina), who is now Chief of Homicide.
