Midnight Man

Conspiracy thriller starring James Nesbitt as a down-on-his-luck journalist who uncovers a dangerous secret.

Max (Nesbitt), a former journalist with a history of unproven conspiracy plots, finally stumbles across what he thinks is the real thing.

While rummaging through bins looking for celebrity stories, he uncovers evidence that a death-squad may be at work in the UK, targetting pro-Islamist supporters, apparently with the full support of the Defence Secretary.

With his past track record, Max has difficulty finding anyone who believes his story, but as he digs deeper, he finds an unlikely ally in right-wing policy adviser Alice Ross (Catherine McCormack).
