Pierre Brice and Scilla Gabel star in this Italian gothic horror directed by Giorgio Ferroni.

When student Hans van Arnim (Brice) travels to a remote Dutch island to write a story about celebrated sculptor Professor Gregorius Wahl (Herbert A.E.

Böhme) and his famed carousel of female statues, he finds himself falling in love with Wahl's daughter Elfie (Gabel).

However, Wahl's carousel holds dark and terrible secrets and when the truth is revealed, no one is safe.

The cast also includes Wolfgang Preiss and Dany Carrel.
