My Favorite Spy

Bob Hope and Hedy Lamarr star in this comedy following a burlesque comedian tasked with impersonating a spy.

When Peanuts White (Hope) is discovered to strongly resemble the international spy Eric Augustine, he is hired to assume his role and carry out a mission on behalf of the American intelligence service.

On his travels he meets the alluring Lily Dalbray (Lamarr), who previously had a brief encounter with Augustine, however just as Peanuts can't believe his luck he begins to realise he might be in above his head.
