Never Let Go/Soft Beds Hard Battles/The Wrong Arm of the Law

Collection of three films starring Peter Sellers. In 'Never Let Go' (1960), Richard Todd plays John Cummings, an unsuccessful toiletry salesman who buys a very expensive car to sell and change the direction of his career.

He does not have enough money to insure the car, and when it is stolen by a professional gang, led by Lionel (Sellers), Cummings vows to hunt down the thieves at whatever cost.

This therefore involves delving into the sinister and very dangerous world run by Lionel.

In 'Soft Beds Hard Battles' (1973), Sellers plays six roles in this World War II romp centering on a Parisian brothel.

The establishment is run by Madame Grenier (Lila Kedrova) who, having lost her original clients to the war, has told her girls to be as attentive to the German troops now in Paris.

This is also the perfect front for her Allied war effort, as she is in the ideal position to exterminate those in power - members of the Gestapo - in the bedroom.

In 'The Wrong Arm of the Law' (1962), cockney gang leader Pearly Gates (Sellers) enters into an unlikely collaboration with Scotland Yard to track down three Australian criminals, themselves disguised as policemen, who are stealing the gang's illicitly gained earnings.
