The New Adventures of Pinocchio

Gabriel Thomson and Martin Landau star in this feature-length sequel to 'The Adventures of Pinocchio' (1996).

The former wood carving is now a real life 12-year-old boy, busy attending school while his father prepares puppets for a special royal show.

However, when Pinocchio (Thomson) falls foul of freak-show proprietor Madame Flambeau (Udo Kier) both he and Gepetto (Landau) are transformed into puppets by a magic elixir and forced to go on tour as part of the show.

As Pinocchio works to undo the effects of the spell he encounters many strange and colourful characters and Gepetto finds himself sidetracked by the world of showbusiness.
