The Ninja Trilogy

Trilogy of American martial arts features produced by Cannon Films.

In 'Enter the Ninja' (1981) Franco Nero stars as a westerner who is initiated into the ways and life of a ninja.

After completing his ninjutsu training in Japan, a wealthy farmer engages Cole (Nero)'s services to defend him from the evil intentions of oil baron Charles Venarius (Christopher George) and his band of thugs.

When Cole steps in to help his friend, Venarius hires an assassin to take out the interfering American. 'Revenge of the Ninja' (1983) follows Cho Osaki (Shô Kosugi) as he travels to America to make a new life for himself after his family is killed by ninjas in his homeland of Japan.

His first job, however, involves working unwittingly as a front for drug smugglers, a situation which takes him on a collision course of deadly proportions.

In 'Ninja III - The Domination' (1984) a ninja living in California is killed by the police.

After an aerobics teacher tries to come to his aid, the ninja's spirit enters her body and, using her as a vessel, he sets out to get his revenge.
