The Nora Roberts Movie Collection 2

Collection of five mystery dramas adapted from the novels by Nora Roberts.

In 'Northern Lights' (2009), Nate Burns (Eddie Cibrian) takes a job as Chief of Police in the small town of Lunacy, Alaska, following the death of his partner.

There he meets feisty, attractive bush pilot Meg Galligan (LeAnn Rimes) and the two fall in love.

But when the body of Meg's long-lost father is found in a mountain cave, everyone in town appears to be the dead man's friend.

In 'Carnal Innocence' (2011), violinist Caroline Waverly (Gabrielle Anwar) returns to her hometown seeking the quiet life.

While there she meets her neighbour, Tucker Longstreet (Colin Egglesfield), and they soon fall for each other.

However, when two women are murdered, Tucker becomes the prime suspect in the investigation and Caroline finds her life in turmoil.

In 'High Noon' (2009), when expert hostage negotiator Phoebe MacNamara (Emilie de Ravin) meets handsome bar owner Duncan Swift (Ivan Sergei), she is at first hesitant but eventually allows herself to fall in love with him.

However, there is a dark cloud on the horizon as the new couple find themselves being stalked by a psychopathic killer.

In 'Midnight Bayou' (2009), Declan Fitzpatrick (Jerry O'Connell) buys New Orleans mansion Manet Hall on a whim despite rumours that the house is haunted.

He soon starts experiencing the supernatural effects of the dark secrets buried in the house's walls and must race to solve a murder that took place a century ago in order to save himself and the woman he loves.

In 'Tribute' (2009), Brittany Murphy stars as Cilla McGowan, a former child star who moves into her deceased grandmother's old house.

However, her hope for a quiet life is soon clouded by haunting dreams of her grandmother, an Oscar-winning actress who supposedly committed suicide in the house more than 30 years previously.

With the help of her handsome new neighbour, graphic novelist Ford Sawyer (Jason Lewis), Cilla begins to delve into the past to uncover the truth behind her grandmother's mysterious death.
