In Search of the Great Composers

Phil Grabsky directs these four feature-length biographical documentaries about the lives and works of composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Joseph Haydn and Frédéric Chopin.

The films, which document the composers' music chronologically interweaved with their letters and life stories, feature live performances by artists including Lang Lang, Emanuel Ax, Lars Vogt and Ronald Brautigam.
