In 'The Philadelphia Experiment' (1984) a 1943 attempt by the US Navy to render their fleet invisible to radar goes terribly wrong.

Two of the crew get transported to the year 1984, where they are pursued by the military who want to silence them, and where they come face-to-face with their future selves. 'The Philadelphia Experiment' (2012) is a made-for-TV remake of the original.

When a ship that disappeared in 1943 reappears in the present day, Bill Gardner (Nicholas Lea) and his relation Molly (Emilie Ullerup) set out to clear up the mess.

Actor Michael Paré appears in both versions of the film.
