Rhineland 1945

Drama set during the final months of World War II following the stresses and strains of a young replacement soldier in combat.

Calvin Mayer (Derek Simmons) naturally feels trepidation at the prospect of joining up with a squadron assigned the dangerous task of sweeping for mines.

His nerves aren't helped by the lack of leadership the squadron receives from the tired Lieutenant Westman (Travis Estes) and the contempt the battle-hardened Sergeant Mike Bowen (Paul Wendell) displays towards the new recruit.

Will Mayer find his feet quickly enough to survive the war?
