On October 12, 1929, Antoine de Saint-Exupery came to Buenos Aires to participate in the development of the route to South America.

He was awarded the title of Chevalier of the French Legion of Honour in 1930 for his outstanding work in civil aviation.

Pilot at that time was a very cool but high-risk job.

The blue sky was a dream destination for everyone. However, not everyone had the physique and courage to be a pilot.

In addition, not everyone had the immense volition and the courage to face death in a bid to survive.

The experience in the Americas in 1929 and 1930 provided real and thrilling materials for the author's writing of Vol De Nuit.

Two lines enrich the story: one is in the sky. Fabien, a pilot, controls his aircraft in the thunder and storm in the dark night, flying across mountains and clouds.

The other is on the ground, Livier, the airline head, is anxiously waiting for the news of the safe arrival of the aircraft in the bright office. "e;The two lines present great contrast: dynamic and dark scene vs. static and bright scene, which appear alternately, making a compact and rhythmic plot."e;
